I notice that there's been a long debate over the issues weather it's home treatment or salon facial treatment are better. I read alot of article that talks about creating home recipe on 'making' skincare product and how it benefits the skin. I read some are talking about their (the author) opinion on the product review and how do they feels or think that they feels (do you get what I mean? it's the perception things)
Sometimes, I doubt about the truth.
If I am a bio-chemist, I will dare to make my own skin product.
If I am a dermatologist, I will dare to use the product that I create myself.
Why? Because I am not an expertise that qualified to make the product. Every skin condition is different. But the level of each skintype is different, and everyskin react differently to different type of skincare ingredient. Although it a product for 5 kind of common skin type: oily, dry, aging, sensitive and dehydrated. Did I miss out another type? oh yeah!! the 'normal' skin type. erm... I doubt how many of us really have any 'normal' skin type. Thanks to our current environment that is full of poison, no I mean, harmful radicals, unhealthy lifestyle and the stress. How 'normal' would our skin would have.
Why do we need to go beauty salon if we can maintain our skin good? Well, the answer is, to become more beautiful.
We do facial in beauty salon to remove the ugly layer from our skin, I mean really remove. Thanks to the advance technology with the development of more friendly version of cosmetic surgery such as Microdermabrasion and IPL. However, I do understand that some of us don't need such treatment. How about a good section of spa? I do facial treatment that have the cleansing and extraction section with massage to pamper myself. Having facial treatment do help to remove the ugly thing inside our skin -- pimples, blackhead, freakles, wrinkles... just name it. But if there's no effort to maintain our skin at home or at work, how would it be possible to have beautiful and bright complexion?
Anyway, my question is, it's who's effort to create a beautiful skin? It's you or your beautician? Would it be funny for a beauty salon to ask some question like this? Maybe not?
So what's your opinion?
